In-person registration will open the morning of the walk at 9:00 AM.

YOUR SUPPORT AT WORK

$10

Provides one child one week of participation in the Autism Services CARE Clubs where children will gain important social skills with their peers.

$25

Buy materials for five clubs such as art materials, science projects, Legos, board games and sports equipment for CARE Clubs and Camp SSTAR, a summer camp strategically built for children impacted by autism.

$125

Funds 10 weeks of a CARE Club which will develop a child's social skill repertoire and expands potential for social relationship development in their lifetime.

$250

Pays for an outreach training session for a school or community organization so their staff can better serve those impacted by autism.

Funds five sessions of parent training for behavior modification strategies that will improve the life of both the parents and the child impacted.

Assists a child with obtaining a diagnosis and therapy plan.

Funds one session for a child to attend Camp SSTAR where he or she will learn social development, play and leisure skills, friendship building and self-regulation.

T-SHIRTS

T-shirts may be purchased during registration or by visiting your Autism CARE Walk campaign page once registered. The deadline to place your T-shirt order is Wednesday, April 12 at 5:00 PM. Select sizes will be available for sale at T-shirt pickup.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I FORGOT MY LOGIN, HOW DO I RESET MY PASSWORD?

If you have forgotten your username or password for this year’s event, or from previous years, please select "Click here to visit the Heartspring website to retrieve your information" from the Login page. This will lead you to the Password Reset page on the Heartspring website. Please enter the username or email address you used to register and click SUBMIT. A password reset link will be sent to the email you registered with.

If you have forgotten your username, select FORGOT USERNAME from the options on the left side of the Password Reset page. Enter the email you registered with, and your username will be sent to that email.


HOW DO I JOIN A TEAM?

You may join a team at any time by clicking the JOIN A TEAM link at the top of the page. This will take you to the JOIN A TEAM search page where you may search for a team by the first letter of the team's name. Once you have found the team you would like to join, click the team name to be taken to the team's page. Then click JOIN THIS TEAM on the team's page.

If you are already registered and logged in, you will automatically be added to the team's roster, and you will see the option LEAVE THIS TEAM appear on the team's page. A MY TEAM link will also appear under your name on your campaign page.

If you are not currently registered or logged in, you will be taken to the REGISTER page. If you have already registered, simply log in to complete the JOIN A TEAM process. If you have not registered for the walk, please complete the registration process. When complete, your campaign page should reflect that you have joined a team by showing the MY TEAM link under your campaign name.


HOW DO I CREATE A TEAM?

If you would like to create your own team after registering, click the CREATE A TEAM button on your campaign page. This will automatically create a new team page with your campaign name. Select EDIT NAME to give your team a custom name. You may also edit your team's fundraising goal and invite others to join your team from this page.

You may only be a member of one team. So if you have already joined a team, you will not have the option to create a new team unless you leave that team first.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you are the creator of a team, then you are the team's captain. You cannot transfer this designation. If you select LEAVE THIS TEAM, the team will be removed.


HOW DO I KEEP TRACK OF MY FUNDRAISING?

All online donations will immediately be reflected on your campaign page. For cash/check donations, please download and print the DONATION FORM found on your fundraising campaign page. Please complete this form and attach it with all cash/check donations. Then you'll need to mail or deliver it to Heartspring. Upon receipt of donations and the accompanying form, the amount will be added to your fundraising campaign. (Please allow at least 24 hours for these donation amounts to be reflected on your campaign).


HOW DO I ADD A PARTICIPANT TO MY REGISTRATION?

To add a participant to your registration, select the MY REGISTRATION tab on your campaign page. Then click the ADD PARTICIPANT button under the PARTICIPANTS section. Once the new participant's information has been submitted you will see their name added to your participant information.

Remember registrations are still free this year, but you will need to order an additional shirt for $10 if the new member wants one.


HOW DO I DONATE TO A SPECIFIC PARTICIPANT OR TEAM?

Select DONATE from the top navigation bar. This will take you to a Donate page where you must first select the participant or team you would like to donate to and then the amount. If you are already on the participant or team's campaign page, just select the amount you would like to donate in the HELP ME REACH MY GOAL box. You may also select PARTICIPANTS in the top navigation bar to search through all participants and teams for this year's event. Clicking on any of these participant or team names will lead you to their campaign page where you can make a donation.


WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE EVENT?

Grab your athletic shoes and your Autism CARE Walk shirt to join us for a great day of advocating! There will be food trucks at the walk, so bring a couple extra dollars to purchase some local grub.


WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS, AND HOW CAN I STAY UP TO DATE WITH EVENT INFO?

We will walk rain or shine! In the case of severe weather, please follow our Heartspring Facebook page and Heartspring Twitter account for any announcements.
